"HOTPROPERTY" is a fashion & clothing platform that combines haute couture & streetwear to channel into thrift culture.
Founded by Lonwabo Yokwana & Mamello Mvubu in 2022.
The following shoot was in collaboration with The Gaea Collective , a Knitwear/Crochet fashion line curated by Rethabile Chocho. Both brands embody the art of sustainable fashion and attempt to create a personal relationship with fashion and its audience.
These Fit Checks are created to include the personal process of how the garments are made/tailored and or named as well as the model's information, as any fashion designer would in preparation for a high fashion show or a catalogue of clothing.
Usually in fast fashion the audience is excluded from this process, Fit Checks are designed to do the opposite to create a form of sentiment to the creation process.
